The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, H.E. Shalva Papuashvili, attended the enthronement ceremony of the newly elected Patriarch during the solemn liturgy held at the Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.

At the ceremonial service in Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, the enthronement of the newly elected His Holiness and Beatitude Shio III, Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Archbishop of Mtskheta-Tbilisi, and Metropolitan of Bichvinta and Tskhum-Abkhazia, took place.

The enthronement ceremony of the newly elected Patriarch was also attended by President Mikheil Kavelashvili, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze, and the Honorary Chairman of Georgian Dream, Bidzina Ivanishvili.

Representatives of the legislative and executive branches, as well as members of the clergy, were also present at Svetitskhoveli Cathedral.
