The Hearing of the Interior Minister in the Parliament postponed

The hearing of the Interior Minister in the Parliament scheduled for today to report on the recent developments and the remedies of the Ministry concerning the Pride Parade was postponed.

As the Speaker noted, the opposition never aimed to hear the Minister.

“The fact is that they planned to wreck the session. It is appalling since during the break I have heard the statements where the political groups openly declared that their goal was not to hear the Minister answering their questions. They enjoyed their right of protest, though unfortunately, they did not return to a working mode and still keep protesting from the podium, purposed to host the session. The way the opposition acts is not a constructive way to ask the questions the society wants to know and thus, I declare the session closed”, - the Speaker, Kakha Kutchava stated.

The Speaker, throughout the session, was calling on the political groups to resume the constructive regime and hear Vakhtang Gomelauri, ask the questions and then enjoy their floor.
