
The Vice Speaker of Parliament, Sozar Subari, met with young visitors at the legislative body.
At the meeting, which was attended by students from various universities, the discussion focused on the life and legacy of the Catholicos-Patriarch of All Georgia, Ilia II. Particular emphasis was placed on his role in preserving and developing Georgia’s statehood, strengthening spirituality, and uniting the nation. The Vice Speaker also spoke with the students about global politics, the Russia–Ukraine war, and ongoing developments in the Middle East. As Sozar Subari noted, in the current geopolitical environment, the correctness of Georgia’s course toward maintaining peace and ensuring stable development has once again become evident.
