The First Vice Speaker, Tamar Chugoshvili expressed condolences due to decease of the Member of the Parliament for two terms, Pridon Sakvarelidze.

“We have lost the Member of the Parliament of the 8th term, Mr. Pridon Sakvarelidze. I would like to express my condolences to his family”, - Tamar Chugoshvili stated.

The publicist and the Member of the Parliament of two terms, Pridon Sakvarelidze perished on February 6 of aggravated health state. He was the Director of Christian Education Foundation, the author of sundry scientific papers and monographs in medicine. In 1998, he has published the Human Rights Glossary.

He had the articles in the Magazine “Solidarity” under the aegis of the Public Defender on human rights, civil society, religion, political ideologies and democracy. Pridon Sakvarelidze is the author and translator of sundry books.
