The First Deputy Chair of the Education and Science Committee, Tamar Taliashvili, participated in the awarding ceremony of the winning students and teachers of the project "Debates for Better Education".

Tamar Taliashvili addressed the project's participants and underlined the importance of the endeavor. Similar tasks, in her opinion, aid the learner in honing and developing their creative thinking.

"Supporting initiatives like these that aim to help students develop their critical-thinking abilities is crucial because these abilities will be valuable to young people in the modern era when it will be necessary to demonstrate creativity and innovative thinking as much as possible in order to advance professionally and in one's career”, - Tamar Taliashvili stated.

The First Deputy Chair of the Education and Science Committee, Tamar Taliashvili, the First Deputy Minister of Education and Science, Tamar Makharashvili, and the Head of the Georgian Institute for Debate and Education, Tinatin Tsertsvadze, presented certificates and gifts to successful pupils and teachers.
