
Alexander Tabatadze, Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, and the members of the Delegation, met with the Chair of the Internal Affairs Committee of the Turkish Parliament, Süleyman Soylu.
The discourse addressed the strategic cooperation aspects and the security situation in the region.
At this juncture, the focus was placed on the importance of close cooperation for addressing the common challenges and threats. The parties underlined the collaboration in the law enforcement sector and stressed the importance of the tight links between the respective agencies of the two countries.
Alexander Tabatadze noted that Georgia highly appreciates the intact position of the Turkish Government and its unwavering support of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia, as well as the Euro-Atlantic integration of the country.
