The Defense and Security Committee approved the changes to the State Budget 2022

The changes to the State Budget 2022 were introduced to the Committee by the First Deputy Finance Minister, Giorgi Kakauridze.


As he reported, based on the 10-month data, the economic parameters are increased from 8,5% to 10%; the changes concern the incomes and expenditures and respectively, assignments for state agencies are increased by 507 ml GEL in total.


The reporter informed MPs about the disposal of extra funds and noted that the Economic Ministry will have an extra 330 ml GEL, where 230 ml GEL will be issued as a loan to the Oil and Gas Corporation for the gas supply of the population; the IDPs Ministry will have extra 95 ml GEL, and 70 ml GEL are additionally allocated to the Culture Ministry; and 2,4 ml GEL will be added to the assignments of the State Special Protection Service for the construction of the training infrastructure.


The reporter answered the questions, after which, the Committee approved the changes.
