The Briefing by Beka Natsvlishvili

The Independent MP, Beka Natsvlishvili responds with the letter to the US Senators and Congressmen, as well as the US Ambassador regarding the Frontera Company and calls on the addressees to study the case in a thorough manner.

He widely overviewed his letter at the briefing today: “I closely see to the letters by the representatives of the US Senate and Congress addressed to the Government of Georgia and I share their pathos regarding the democratic values when they stress that Georgian Dream has failed to fulfill the promises and declined the proportional elections. I also share that the rule of law is not guaranteed in the country but we need to dissociate these issues from the issues related to the activity of the American companies. In my letter, I would like to call on American Congressmen to see closely to the processes. We would like, is it the American Congressman or representative of any other country, to respect Georgian people, respect Georgian workers because when we speak about the support to the Frontera Company, they need to thoroughly study the activity of the Company and the condition of its employees left without the salaries for 11 months and dismissed from the Company after their protest rally”, - he noted.

The briefing was attended by the dismissed employees of Frontera Company who also dwelt on their grave labor conditions, hard social problems and violation of labor safety norms.
