Borjomi-Aspindza Single Mandate MP, Gedevan Popkhadze met with the members of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Youth Parliament and the students.

The youth asked about his biography and experience, political background and the position as an independent MP. G. Popkhadze answered the questions concerning development of the country, parliamentary activity, electoral system, human rights, education and school safety, as well as judicial independence and selection of the judges.

“What does it mean to be an independent MP? It is the opportunity to serve for my country and my people support of which I enjoyed at every stage of my life starting since 2002 when Borjomi population elected me to the City Assembly and then as the Chair of the Assembly. Today, with their support, I represent Borjomi in the Parliament”, - he stated. He wished the youth to be productive in serving for the country.
