
The First Deputy Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, Giorgi Begadze met with the Secretary General of Estonian International Chamber of Commerce, Peeter Puskai and the project coordinator.
The parties discussed importance of strategy of international tourism exhibition development. The guests visit Georgia within the international tourist exhibition development strategy project and try to assist the organizations of hereof sphere. The parties touched upon exchange of experience in tourism industry.
“Their assistance is important for the petty and average business using the exhibition format in tourism industry. This project will facilitate them to develop their business and thus, facilitate to creation of job opportunities. It will as well extend the service and product area they offer to tourists. Besides, the high level exhibitions create more opportunities to increase awareness on Georgia as of the touristic country and reveal our cultural and natural resources”, - G. Begadze noted.
The meeting was attended by the Attaché of Estonia for Political and Economic Affairs, Margus Gering.
