
The Head of Georgia-Hungary Friendship Group, Giorgi Khatidze held the meeting with the Ambassador of Hungary, H.E. Viktoria Horvath.
The parties discussed bilateral relations and cooperation and emphasized inter-Parliamentary relations.
According to G. Khatidze, the two countries are connected with strategic partnership. “Georgia enjoys close relations with Hungary in various directions, including in cultural, educational, economic and trade spheres. Hungary resolutely supports sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and EU and NATO integration”, - he stated.
“We spoke about relations in all possible directions, including in culture, science, trade and economy. This year, I have several times visited Hungary and had the opportunity to discuss inter-Parliamentary cooperation with Hungarian MPs. I hail the will of the Ambassador to be involved in enhancement of Parliamentary relations. We agreed to contribute in cultural, scientific, economic, trade development of our countries and enhancement of relations in other directions”.
