The Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Irakli Sesiashvili held the introductory meeting with the Ambassador of Israel, H.E. Ran Gidor.

“We have a unique friendship story with Israel rich with the traditions. Our recent cooperation and partnership are of particular importance, including in the defense and security spheres. Today, we held the introductory meeting with Mr. Gidor where we exchanged information and dwelt on our future cooperation. The Ambassador asked about the specification of the activity of our Committee. We share the common interests in terms of peace and security in the region and in this regard, our cooperation is particular. Naturally, we will further keep the relations on the Parliamentary and the Governmental level as it is the tradition between our nations”, - I. Sesiashvili noted.
