Gldani Constituency N20 Single Mandate MP, the Deputy Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Koba Kobaladze met with the School Directors within his Constituency and discussed school infrastructure problems and projects scheduled for 2019.

According to him, there are 20 public schools in the constituency with infrastructural problems.

“In 2018, along with the Deputy Education Minister we at place studied the problems and identified the needs of the schools. In close communication with the Ministry, we allocated partial financing for 4 schools, as well as we agreed on consideration of the school problems in the state budget 2019. It is noteworthy that on the basis of our mediation, the officers of the construction-design office of the Infrastructure Development Agency scrutinized the problems in schools and reflected them in the state budget 2019”, - K. Kobaladze noted.

In 2019, 6 schools have been included in the school rehabilitation pilot project.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Education Ministers, Natia Zedginidze-Jishkariani and Irine Abuladze introducing the information about infrastructural works in schools and allocations.
