
The parties discussed the objectives and plans of the organization and employment of emigrants returning to Georgia. The parties also touched upon the project “From Unemployment to Employment” and attached attention to the problems the Center members encounter.
According to the EEC, Tamar Parulava, the Center was established in 2011 and has already rendered aid to hundreds of people. Currently, the Center database counts up to 2000 persons. It is noteworthy that the number of emigrants willing to return to Georgia increased recently, most of which are of the age of 35 and over with unemployment problem. Mainly, emigrants return from Italy, France, Greece and USA. There are qualified personnel amongst them, there are people requiring retraining. EEC has connections with international organizations rendering support to the Center.
According to Teimuraz Chkuaseli, EEC activity is noteworthy. The parties agreed on future cooperation. T. Chkuaseli promised to render respective support from the Parliament.
