
The topic of the meeting was EUAA and implementation thereof. According to German MPs, Germany keeps an eye on ongoing events in Georgia and considers that Georgia made significant steps forward in terms of EUAA implementation.
“The meeting was very interesting. We spoke about EUAA and DCFTA plan. The Parliament of Georgia plans to harmonize legislation and monitor the activity of the Executive authority in order to accelerate this process. We spoke about Riga Summit challenges, which Georgian economics encounter after opening the European market”, - T. Khidasheli stated.
According to her, Georgian Parliament actively cooperates with European Parliaments and in the end of the month, Parliamentary Delegation will hold meetings in German Bundestag.
