In compliance with the UN Resolution, September 15 was declared the international day of democracy since 2007. "What are the expectations of the electors from the Parliament?” – this was the question, posted on the web-site of the Parliament on Facebook. Many users expressed their opinion and today, the MPs Akaki Minashvili and Giorgi Gabashvili met with the most active creative of them.

The meeting was held in Parliament and the open discussion was conducted around the above-mentioned topic. The contest participants, selected by their activity, heard the answers by the MPs to the questions, they were interested in. The conversation touched upon the issues of certification of the pedagogues, labor legislation, unemployment problems, healthcare and social protection.

In the end of the meeting, the MPs and the invited citizens expressed their hope that relations and similar communication will further continue.

The International Day of Democracy is celebrated in Georgia since 2008.
