The First Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Zaza Khutsishvili and the Committee member, Giorgi Gachechiladze met with the members of the Eco-club of the Public School N144.

The children are concerned about the environmental protection and MPs introduced comprehensive information about legislative steps and respective measures in this direction.

Z. Khutsishvili spoke about the Parliamentary activity and the Committee objectives envisaging development of the environmental laws.

G. Gachechiladze emphasized necessity of harmonization of economic development and ecologic problems. The country encounters the gross environmental challenges and the Government strives to create better and healthier conditions for the future generations.

MPs answered the questions and expressed commitment to further hold similar meetings aiming at public awareness.
