The First Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Zaza Khutsishvili hosted the students of European School in the Parliament.

He spoke about the main functions of the Parliament and the administration form of the Parliamentary Republic under the new Constitution. Speaking about the Committee activity, he emphasized the EUAA and underlined involvement of the Committee in implementation of the commitments.

The Committee established the new approach implying study of the environment impact factors. He noted importance of technical inspection of vehicles for prevention of hazard emissions and hailed the decision of the City Hall on replacement of the old buses with eco-friendly vehicles.

He elucidated the principles of issue of the permits for extraction of natural resources on the basis of the certain example of Borjomi mineral water manufacture.

The youth asked the questions about licensing the taxi drivers, combating the sting bugs, establishment of the standards of the leading countries etc.
