The Chair of the Diaspora and Caucasus Issues Committee, Zviad Kvachantiradze held the introductory meeting with the Chief of International Organization for Migration Georgia Mission, Sanja Celebic Lukovac.

The parties discussed labor migration for Georgian citizens and legal migration, current challenges and solutions, which will be discussed on March 4 at the joint sitting of the Committees.

Sanja Celebic Lukovac got cognizant with the Committee approach to the temporary legal employment of Georgian citizens abroad.

As noted, IOM Georgia Office closely cooperates with the executive authorities in this direction. The cooperation includes the trainings and workshops for the Committee staff.

The meeting was attended by the Secretary of the Scientific-Advisory Council of the Committee, Zaal Sarajishvili.
