The Chair of Foreign Relations Committee, Mr. Tedo Japaridze serves the working visit to Oslo, Norway. He holds the meetings with the President of the Norwegian Parliament (Storting), Olemic Thommessen, the Chair of Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee, Anniken Huitfeldt and the State Secretary for European Economic Zone and EU Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Elsbeth Tronstad.

The parties spoke about foreign policy priorities of Georgia, EU and NATO aspiration, regional security, Georgia-Russia relations and Ukraine events, as well as Karabakh conflict solution. As the parties noted, peace and stability in the region require conflict solution.

The parties emphasized Norway-Georgia cooperation in bilateral and multilateral formats. As noted, Norway resolutely supports Georgian EU and NATO aspiration, as well as its sovereignty and territorial integrity, committed to share own experience. Tedo Japaridze also gave interview in one of the Norwegian newspapers “VG”.
