Tinatin Khidasheli visited the Museum of Soviet Occupation regarding the exhibition scheduled on May 5

The exhibition is on “Donbas: War and Peace”. T. Khidasheli met with the staff of the Museum and considered the organizational issues of the event.

The exhibition exposes up to 60 photos reflecting the dramatic moments of the events in Donbas region. The exhibition is initiated by the EU Integration Committee. The photos have been already exposed in Brussels, Strasbourg, London and New York. The event aims at attraction of the attention by international community to Ukraine events. The opening will be attended by the Georgian MPs and Government and Ukrainian MPs, as well Ambassadors and international organizations.

“In the beginning of May, prior to Riga summit, we schedule the Georgia-Ukraine-Moldova Parliamentary forum to discuss action plans and agreements, as well as coordination and agenda of these countries. The first week of May is dedicated to Europe and we would like to echo the occupation of Ukraine. The exhibition will be open on May 5 for two weeks. I think it will be interesting to project the facts, which unfortunately are not yet the part of history”, - T. Khidasheli stated.
