The Legal Issues Committee set up the Working Group to determine the compliance of the Supreme Court Judge candidate (Amiran Dzabunidze) with the Constitution of Georgia and other legal requirements.

The candidate was nominated by the High Council of Justice on December 20, 2021.

The Deputy Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Rati Ionatamishvili was elected as the Secretary of the Group. The Faction “Georgian Dream” will dispatch 13 members to the Group, while other Factions and Political Groups will have an opportunity to dispatch 1 member per.

The Group will as well include the non-Faction MPs. The quotas of the Group are also allocated for the representatives of the academic and professional circles.
