Victor Dolidze attends the 6th meeting of EaP Foreign Ministers in Luxemburg

The meeting was held on April 20 where V. Dolidze delivered the speech in capacity of the Co-President of the EuroNest PA. He introduced information about the PA decisions made in Yerevan. He noted that the PA supports individual, differentiated approaches to EaP and shares the decisions of Vilnius summit.

He also spoke about Ukraine events and called on Russia to withdraw armed forces from Ukraine, halt military aggression against the neighbor and terminate support of terrorists, to respect Ukrainian territorial integrity within the internationally recognized borders.

V. Dolidze underlined so-called strategic cooperation agreements between Russia and Tskhinvali and Sokhimi affecting regional security and Geneva process solely and have no positive impact on Georgia-Russian relations.

He emphasized Riga summit importance in terms of EaP further development and political association and economic integration of relevant countries to EU. The PA supports granting European perspective to these countries and adoption of visa free transit.

The meeting was chaired by the High Representative of EU on Foreign Affairs and Security Policy. The participants of the Ministerial were EU Commissioner on European Neighborhood Policy and Enlargement Talks, the Foreign Ministers of 6 partner and EU member states, as well as the representatives of European investment and reconstruction and development banks.
