The First Deputy Chair of the Defense and Security Committee, Vladimir Chachibaia held a meeting with the Director of George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies, Barre Seguin and the US Embassy Defense Attaché, Stephanie Bagley.

The parties discussed the possibility of the Committee members and staffers to attend the academic courses in the Center and affirmed the commitment to further cooperating in this direction. The parties touched upon the importance of the academic programs and overviewed the security situation in the region, noting the key role of Georgia in this regard.
