The Chair of the Health Care and Social Issues Committee, Akaki Zoidze met with the former Minister of France of Social Affairs, Health and Women’s Rights, State Advisor of the Government of France, Marisol Touraine.

The parties discussed the pension reform in Georgia and the challenges in terms of social policy.

Mme. Touraine offered to share experience of France with participation of French experts on new initiatives. As noted, France has developed the special social model for the persons with disabilities in 2000s which is successful up-today.

A. Zoidze hailed the initiative and gave the positive estimation to possible participation of French specialists in implementation of social programs in Georgia. The parties defined the future cooperation priorities.

The French Delegation members and executive authority of Georgia hold the international conference tomorrow dedicated to the accumulative pension reform.
