The Chair of the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee, David Songulashvili held a meeting with the Ambassador of Japan, H.E. ISHIZUKA Hideki. The parties overviewed the economic relations between the country and dwelt on the potential of Georgia in terms of clean energy, as well as the favorable location for the development of trade.

D. Songulashvili concentrated on the Black Sea Submarine Cabling Project underlining its importance for Georgia and Europe.

The Ambassador expressed his support to the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia and congratulated our country on the EU candidate status.

The discourse included the further extension of multilateral relations.
