The Head of the Friendship Group with the Parliament of the Kingdom of Thailand, Dimitri Khundadze, held an introductory meeting with the non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand in Georgia, H.E. Apirat Sugondhabhirom.

Dimitri Khundadze expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for Thailand's steadfast support of the non-recognition policy regarding Georgia's occupied territories.

During the meeting, the parties discussed strengthening the relations between the two countries, with particular attention to developing cooperation with the Kingdom of Thailand and the Parliament of Georgia.

"The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Georgia was with us for an important and fascinating meeting. We reaffirmed our dedication to developing our economic relations through trade, investments, tourism, and other ventures. The expansion of collaboration with the Georgian Parliament and the Kingdom of Thailand was stressed. Plans called for the delegations to meet on a bilateral basis and for contacts to be established in international forums", - Dimitri Khundadze stated after the meeting.
