Shalva Papuashvili Visited the Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti Region Together with Members of Parliament

The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, together with Members of Parliament, is visiting the Samegrelo–Zemo Svaneti region.
As part of the events marking the 1,700th anniversary of the Christianization of Georgia, the Speaker of Parliament and Members of Parliament visited several churches in the Zugdidi and Tsaishi Diocese.
According to Shalva Papuashvili, the Zugdidi and Tsaishi Diocese takes exceptional care in preserving Georgia's Christian heritage.
“We visited several churches. The cultural and Christian heritage that Georgians possess is truly remarkable, and it is preserved with particular dedication in this diocese. This heritage tells future generations the story of the path our country has travelled. The Skuri Church is especially distinguished by its architecture and its natural surroundings. The Skuri Valley is a unique place in our country”, - Shalva Papuashvili stated.
Joining Shalva Papuashvili in the delegation were Members of Parliament Nino Tsilosani, Ilia Injia, Mariam Lashkhi, Irakli Kadagishvili, Davit Matikashvili, Greta Tsitsava, Edisher Toloraia, Irakli Zarkua, and the Secretary General of the Parliament, Kakha Okrojanashvili.
