Farewell of the Chairman of the Parliament to the Staff

The Chairman of the 8th Term of the Parliament, Mr. David Usupashvili held the farewell meeting with the Staff and thanked them for joint and productive 4-year cooperation.
“Dear Staff members, dear colleagues, today we see the people here serving the foundation of the Parliament of Georgia. We encounter the moment in every four years when the changes take place in the country and these changes first of all are reflected on the Parliament. 4 years have passed since the last Elections. 4 years ago I and my colleagues entered this building and if we succeeded during this period and if the Parliament managed to faithfully fulfill assumed obligations, it is due to your merit and I am here today to express my gratitude to you all. Thank you all who devotedly serves for the Parliament”.
He expressed his content that despite of different ages, professions and political views of hundreds of Staff members, they manage to successfully cooperate in civilized manner.
“I would like the atmosphere which is amongst the Staff members to see amongst MPs and the Factions, I would like us, so different to manage to jointly work for benefit of our country. I could embody my speech in one word today and the word is Thanks! I wish good luck to all and I believe that future Parliaments will be better! I say farewell to you. See you next time. Life goes on and we go on serving our country”. After the speech, the attendees took the family photo.
