The term of the payment of the fees for the change of the Maximum land development K2 Coefficient to be extended to January 1, 2025, instead of January 1, 2020, as stipulated under the current Law on Local Fees, the changes to which were discussed today by the Sector Economy and Economic Policy Committee with the II reading.

MP Beka Davituliani elucidated that the changes serve as a facilitation for the tax-payers, enjoying the right of installments to as of January 1, 2020, ensure the realization of the procedures necessary for the set of the premises to the operation but failed to pay the fee and thus, were subject to the respective responsibility and proceedings.

“It is noteworthy that deriving from the pandemic and economic situation, the extension of the installment of their fees to January 1, 2025, will facilitate the suspended processes since the timely accomplishment of which is an expectation cherished by the citizens”, - he stated. The Committee approved the Bill.
