As the Chair of the Committee, Givi Mikanadze announced, 5 Scientific-Advisory Councils are to be set up to deliberate on the problem solutions in the education sphere.

As Mr. Mikanadze clarified, this is the decision to ensure the enhancement of the oversight function of the Committee.

“The Scientific-Advisory Council on Preschool Education will be chaired by Giorgi Chakvetadze; Baia Kvitsiani is approved to preside the Scientific-Advisory Council on General Education; we elected Mariam Lashkhi as the Chair of the Scientific-Advisory Council on Vocational Education; I will chair the Scientific-Advisory Council on Higher Education and Maia Menagarishvili is assigned to the Scientific-Advisory Council on Science”, - he elucidated.

The Committee approved the set-up, Charters and composition of the Councils.
