Giorgi Amilakhvari: the US Educational Programs are vital for our youth in acquiring high-quality education

The Chair of the Education and Science Committee, Giorgi Amilakhvari and the First Deputy, Tamar Taliashvili held a meeting with Christopher Anderson, the Cultural Attache at the U.S. Department of State to discuss the projects held by the USA in the educational and scientific spheres.
“We expressed our gratitude for the aid provided by the USA in the development of the human capital of Georgia. We informed our guest about the projects ongoing in the Committee and expressed our commitment to fully politically supporting any American educational program. We believe that the US Educational Programs are vital for our youth in acquiring high-quality education”, - G. Amilakhvari stated.
According to T. Taliashvili, the Committee actively cooperates with the US Embassy, USAID and the Millennium Foundation.
“Aid provided by the USA in education sphere counts 30 years. During this period, the USA has allocated 6 bl. USD for Georgia and we highly appreciate the contribution of the American people to the Georgian education and keep effective and close cooperation with the US Embassy”, - she stated.
