Chair of the Culture Committee Giorgi Gabunia and Deputy Chair of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction Greta Tsitsava attended the 6th International Polikarpe Khubulava Festival, "Kolkhi Da …,"held in Zugdidi.

Addressing the audience, Giorgi Gabunia spoke about the outstanding contribution of Polikarpe Khubulava.

"The festival plays an important role in promoting Georgian folk singing. It is symbolic that the festival bears the name of Polikarpe Khubulava, whose contribution to the development and promotion of Georgian traditional music is truly invaluable”, - Giorgi Gabunia stated.

The festival concluded with a gala concert featuring state academic and municipal folklore ensembles. As part of the event, an exhibition and sale of traditional handicrafts, as well as a photography exhibition, were also held.

Among those attending the event were Zugdidi Municipality Mayor Davit Kodua, representatives of the local authorities, and invited guests.

The 6th International Polikarpe Khubulava Festival, "Kolkhi Da …," was held with the support of Zugdidi Municipality City Hall and organized by the Arts and Culture Development Centre.
