The Chair of the Education and Science Committee, Givi Mikanadze, within the framework of the visit of the Parliamentary Delegation to Italy, held meetings with the Deputy Chair of the Committee on Culture and Cultural Properties, Education, Scientific Research, Entertainment and Sport of the Senate, Giulia Cosenza, and the Chair of the Committee of the Chamber of Deputies, Federico Mollicone.

At the meetings, Mr. Mikanadze informed his colleagues about the education and science reforms in Georgia and underlined the importance of the cooperation agreements concluded between Georgia and Italy in both spheres.

By the initiative of G. Mikanadze and the support of the Italian MPs, the sector Committees schedule to conclude the cooperation communique in autumn and hold joint sittings in Tbilisi to deliberate on the projects in the education and science spheres and outline further cooperation prospects. Italian MPs expressed their commitment to further cooperating with the Georgian Parliament.
