The Chairman of the Defense and Security Committee, Irakli Beraia, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Armenia, H.E. Ashot Smbatyan. During the meeting, the two parties discussed the current friendly and partnership relations between their respective countries and explored opportunities for further deepening and strengthening cooperation across various sectors.

"During the meeting, I expressed my gratitude to the Ambassador of Armenia for their support of Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity. We also discussed ways to enhance inter-parliamentary cooperation and explored the possibility of organizing visits by bilateral parliamentary delegations to both Tbilisi and Yerevan”, - Irakli Beraia commented.

Tengiz Sharmanashvili, Deputy Chairman of the Committee, attended the meeting with the Ambassador.
