Irakli Kadagishvili, Delegate of the Telavi, Akhmeta, Kvareli and Lagodekhi municipalities, and Guram Macharashvili, the Deputy Chair of the Political Group “People’s Power”, met with members of the Youth Council of the Lagodekhi Municipality City Hall, who were visiting the Parliament of Georgia.

 

The Members of Parliament provided the young participants with information about the history of parliamentarianism and discussed the importance of the legislative body in shaping the country’s domestic and foreign policy.

 

During the meeting, the young people expressed particular interest in issues related to reforms in general, vocational and higher education.

 

“The meeting was held in a discussion format. The young participants showed considerable interest in issues concerning the education system. Meetings of this kind between young people and Members of Parliament are both valuable and engaging, and we intend to continue holding such meetings in the future”, - Guram Macharashvili stated.
