Irakli Kadagishvili Addressed the 67th PABSEC Plenary Session

Irakli Kadagishvili, Head of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, addressed the 67th PABSEC Plenary Session. He conveyed greetings to the participants of the parliamentary forum on behalf of the Secretary General of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, Maximos Charakopoulos, and the President of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, Ioan Vulpescu.
"The PABSEC is holding debates on the role and significance of artificial intelligence in promoting regional cooperation. This is a highly relevant topic that reflects the interests of contemporary society. Last year, the 32nd General Assembly of the Interparliamentary Assembly on Orthodoxy, held in Bucharest, was dedicated to the ethical dimensions of artificial intelligence. We believe that artificial intelligence can contribute to improving people's lives, expanding young people's access to global knowledge, and enhancing the functioning of democratic processes and parliamentary institutions. It should also be noted that the PABSEC is addressing the issue of artificial intelligence from both political and cultural perspectives. Unfortunately, in recent years, particularly following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Black Sea region has become a theatre of war. PABSEC is a reliable regional actor that employs dialogue and diplomacy as instruments for resolving disputes and promoting the well-being of the peoples of the Black Sea region. We hope that your decisions and initiatives will guide the Black Sea region towards greater stability, cultural cohesion and peaceful cooperation among its peoples”, - Irakli Kadagishvili stated.
The 67th Plenary Session of PABSEC, held in the village of Mepiskalaki, Kaspi Municipality, is attended by the Head of the Georgian Parliamentary Delegation to PABSEC, Irakli Mezurnishvili; Members of Parliament Levan Machavariani, Gela Samkharauli, Irakli Kadagishvili, Levan Makhashvili and Irakli Shatakishvili, as well as the Secretary General of the Parliament of Georgia, Kakha Okrojanashvili.
