The Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Irakli Medzmariashvili, member of the Committee assigned to the youth direction, Givi Mikanadze, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth, Irakli Giviashvili met with the Deputy State Trustees and representatives of local self-government in the Administration of the State Trustee in Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti to discuss the municipal programs and services that are focused on youth issues.

After the meeting with the local government, the representatives of the Committee met with the members of the Youth Council of Zugdidi Municipality and the group of book lovers B612 in the Technopark, where an open discussion was held on the challenges, priority areas, and needs of the youth in the region.

The members of the Committee introduced the youth in detail to the programs offered by the state and urged them to be actively involved in such programs as internships in public services, grant competitions announced by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth in the direction of youth, etc.
