Irakli Shatakishvili, Delegate of ten communities of Rustavi and Gardabani and First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, met with participants of the Rustavi Municipality youth project “The Mayor’s Young Representative”.

Irakli Shatakishvili spoke to the young participants about the work of Parliament, its oversight functions, and the legislative process. Particular attention was also paid to the role of the legislative body, its structure, and the main areas of its activity.

“Supporting young people is one of the priority areas of our government. It is educated and experienced young people who will ensure a strong and development-oriented future”, - Irakli Shatakishvili stated.

During their visit to the Parliament of Georgia, the project participants toured the Parliament Building and the Ekvtime Takaishvili Museum of Georgian Parliamentarianism.
