The member of the Human Rights and Civil Integration Committee, the Deputy Chair of the Faction “Georgian Dream”, Irma Zavradashvili participates in the “Pink October” campaign dedicated to countering the breast cancer held in Telavi as stated by the Chair of the Committee, Mikheil Sarjveladze at the sitting.

“One member - Irma Zavradashvili is absent today since she is in Telavi to participate in the “Pink October” campaign, held by the women's organization of the Party “Georgian Dream” in cooperation with the Screening Center. I believe, it is a very important campaign to be highly supported”, - he stated.

The idea of the so-called “Pink October” was initiated in 1985 in the USA by the American Cancer Society.

In view of countering the breast cancer, the world undertakes numerous campaigns in October aiming at raising public awareness and addressing the problem.
