Online meeting of Ketevan Dumbadze with the representatives of the Culture Services of Georgian Municipalities

The Deputy Chair of the Culture Committee, Ketevan Dumbadze held an online meeting with the representatives of the Culture Services of Georgian Municipalities to deliberate the challenges in the cultural sphere in the regions, as well as the needs the Culture services face today.
The parties touched upon the preservation of the cultural heritage monuments and the inclusion thereof in the touristic routes, as well as the necessity of the infrastructural projects like rehabilitation of the history museums and cultural monument access roads. As noted, training of the guides, promotion of the historical values of the monument, and creation of the cultural recreational area are the milestones of the development of tourism in the regions.
The parties highlighted the necessity to update instruments and inventory in the art education sphere. The members of the Culture Services stressed the progress recently achieved in the cultural projects. The conversation included the importance of the update and opening of libraries and bookstores, as well as the establishment of youth centers to host the local population for meetings with the eminent figures of the cultural sphere, film presentations and other cultural events.
The parties outlined the necessity of the improvement of the informal art education system through the qualification of the pedagogues and provision of the workshops and master classes.
The parties agreed on further cooperation and online meetings with K. Dumbadze.
