The First Deputy Chair of the Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Committee, Khatia Tsilosani held a meeting with the representative of the Ministry of Agriculture of France and discussed the cooperation in the agrarian sphere, including sharing the experience of France in agrarian legislation.

“Georgia enjoys an active relation with the Agrarian Ministry of France. The Embassy of France and the French Development Agency, through various programs, render aid to our country for years, especially in the direction of melioration, animal husbandry and cooperatives. One of the goals of today’s meeting was to sum up the recent academic visit of the Georgian Delegation to France and Belgium. The French official expressed his commitment to further cooperation through the programs and financing of new agrarian projects. In this context, we intend to identify new directions related to the sharing of experience of France and the support of the Georgian agrarian products in the EU”, - Kh. Tsilosani stated
