Koba Kobaladze: everyone inciting the June 20 disorders shall be judged

The “Georgian Dream-for Powerful Georgia” MP, Koba Kobaladze responded to June 20 developments:

“We – the group of the fighters for the territorial integrity of Georgia - are no less insulted when the representative of the aggressor country sits in the Speaker’s Chair.

We gave the proper assessment and made the statements, however it does not mean we need to destroy our country. I would like to respond to the protesting youth, their healthy protest against the Russian MP opening the conference in the Parliament. Our political team has not evaded from the political responsibility. One of the highest officials has resigned, another MP lifted his mandate. Besides, we hold the legal assessment of the process.

I would like to thank our policemen for their legitimate actions. As we have witnessed, they have committed misconducts and it will also be due estimated. We shall all realize that if the Parliament would have been invaded, it would entail destructive processes. Our opponents have such a rich experience of destruction when using the hysterical background, they incite the youth and then flee from the crisis.

We cannot speak about friendship with Russia and cannot also compare November 7 and May 26 with current events. If we recall June 20 dynamics, we will see the several attempts of attack to the police line in front of the Parliament entailing 97 policemen injured. It is so painful to see so many youth wounded but the inciters shall be judged”.
