The Chair of the EU Integration Committee, Maka Botchorishvili and her First Deputy, Levan Karumidze met with the re-elected MEPs in Strasbourg.

Meetings were held with MEPs from various political groups for the deliberation of the Georgia-EU relations, developments in Georgia, the challenges posed to the country and the cooperation prospects.

The European Parliament, within the first plenary session, elected Roberta Metsola as the President of the EP and 14 Vice-Presidents.

It is noteworthy that Mme. Metsola, in her speech, dwelt on the EU enlargement policy in regard to Ukraine, Georgia and Moldova
