The Deputy Chair of the Education, Science and Culture Committee, Sergo Ratiani met with the interns of the Parliament to discuss the functions of the legislative body and the major directions of the Committee activity.

The meeting went through the questions and the interns inquired about the domestic policy, ongoing education reforms and future perspectives thereof. Discussions touched upon several acute issues, including the Bill considered by the Committee on Amendments to the Law of Georgia on “Higher Education”.

The sides dwelt upon the challenges observed in the pre-school and general education systems and the the State funding for the higher education institutions.

Sergo Ratiani shared his political experience with the interns with a specific focus on the development stages that Georgia has undergone in the fields of education and economy.

After the meeting, the Chair wished success to the attendees.
