Meeting of the British Parliament Member with the Deputy Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Vakhtang Kolbaia
At the meeting of the group of Parliamentarians of the three countries of the South Caucasus - Georgia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, that will be held in a month in Scotland, conversation will refer to the problems existing in the region - frozen conflicts, particularly the issues of Abkhazia and Karabakh. This theme was discussed at the meeting of NGO Linsci Executive Director Denis Samut and of the British Parliament Member Angus Robertson with the Deputy Chairman of the Georgian Parliament Vakhtang Kolbaia.
According to Vakhtang Kolbaia, experts will represent reports and recommendations will be elaborated. The main aim of the British Government is to arrange a meeting of the Parliamentarians of the three countries and to assist in the process of dialogue and cooperation between the Parliaments in the framework of the Parliamentary Assembly Initiative of the South Caucasus, that will show its result in a year - noted Angus Robertson.
