Mikheil Kavelashvili and Majority MPs attended the opening of the Gym

The Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Mikheil Kavelashvili, First Deputy, Shota Khabareli and Majority MPs attended the opening of the Gym in Kutaisi on the basis of Public School N36.
The Constantine Janashia Gym “Strongest Man” was officially opened named after the world champion for weightlifting.
The opening was attended by the Chair of the Sports and Youth Issues Committee, Mikheil Kavelashvili, First Deputy, Shota Khabareli and Majority MPs: Genadi Margvelashvili, Giorgi Mosidze, David Songulashvili and Gela Samkharauli.
MPs noted that multitude of gyms is necessary for establishment of healthy lifestyle.
“I would like to congratulate you with opening and state that it will be the trigger for various events we plan in this direction. It will be the model for youth that healthy lifestyle shall be better promoted and supported. Multitude of gyms is the guarantee that our children will chose healthy lifestyle”, - M. Kavelashvili stated.
He noted that the Sports Committee attaches particular attention to training of the sports pedagogues the first stage of which is already undergo. At the second stage the number of the pedagogues will constitute 3500.
“I am glad to see the gyms opening. Thus, we confront bad habits and guarantee that our future generations will be better than us. This is the greatest success of us, of you and our children. This tendency shall continue in other municipalities”, - Sh. Khabareli stated.
“I believe that such positive novelties will guarantee success and development of our youth”, - Kutaisi Single Mandate MP, G. Margvelashvili stated.
He noted that within Millennium Challenge project, Georgia ensures full rehabilitation of public schools and sports infrastructure and Kutaisi School N36 and other ten Schools in Kutaisi will be rehabilitated soon.
MPs thanked Kutaisi City Hall, local Sports NPLE, all the athletes and sponsors for their contribution in rehabilitation of the gym.
