Krystyna Marty Lang, the Ambassador of Switzerland to Russia. The primary focus of these discussions was on the challenging situation in Georgia's occupied regions and Russia's disruptive actions.

Both parties expressed condemnation of the decision to establish a Russian naval base in the occupied territory. They also discussed other security challenges facing Georgia and the broader region, including the ongoing Russian aggression in Ukraine and its repercussions. Additionally, the discussions touched upon the security environment in the South Caucasus and Georgia's significant role in peacekeeping efforts related to the Azerbaijan-Armenia conflict.

Nikoloz Samkharadze provided the ambassadors with updates on Georgia's progress toward European Union membership and the successful implementation of 12 recommendations. He expressed optimism that Georgia would achieve the deserved candidate status by the year's end.

The parties also explored possibilities for enhancing parliamentary cooperation between the two countries during these meetings.
