The Parliament of Georgia will vote on the candidate for the Head of the State Security Service at today’s plenary session. This was announced by the Speaker of Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, at a Bureau meeting.

“Today, the Government will present to Parliament the candidate for the Head of the State Security Service. During the recess of the plenary session, a Bureau meeting will be held, and the matter will be referred to the Defense and Security Committee for consideration. The Committee meeting will take place on the same day, where the candidate will be reviewed. After that, another Bureau meeting will be held, and the issue will be submitted to the plenary session for voting”, - said Shalva Papuashvili.
