The Parliament adopted the Draft Law on the Declaration of the Law on the Creation of Conditions Conducive to a Peaceful Settlement of the Conflict in the Former Autonomous Region of South Ossetia Void, and the Draft Law on the Declaration of the Law on the Property Restitution and Compensation of Victims of the Conflict in the Former Autonomous Region of South Ossetia on the Territory of Georgia Void for the I reading and 86 votes.

 

The amendments annul the temporary administrative-territorial unit on the territory of the former South Ossetia as of January 1, 2026.
